HOOKZPAD

Docs

What each rule does, how stages change over time, and how the two launch modes differ. Every token page shows its own rules and schedule, read straight from the chain.

How rules work

Every Hookzpad token is a Solana Token-2022 token with a transfer hook: a program that runs on every transfer, including buys and sells. It reads the network clock, finds the stage the token is in, and checks the transfer against that stage’s rules. A transfer that breaks a rule fails before it settles: the whole transaction is reverted, no tokens move, and the sender only pays the network fee.

The rules, the schedule, and the name, ticker and image are written once at launch and can’t be changed by anyone, the creator included. Minting is switched off and there’s no freeze authority.

Limits apply to each wallet (token account), not to each person: someone using several wallets can hold or move more in total. The only exempt account is the bonding curve’s own vault (in Meteora mode, the vaults of Meteora’s curve). The creator is not exempt.

The rules

Each stage can stack any of these four limits, or turn them all off for free trading.

Max wallet% of supply, 0.01–100

The most one wallet can hold. Checked on the wallet receiving tokens, so a buy or transfer that would push it over the limit fails. Selling is never blocked by max wallet.

Max transaction% of supply, 0.01–100

The most a single transfer can move, in either direction: buys, sells and wallet-to-wallet sends.

Cooldownseconds

How long a wallet waits after a transfer before its next one. It applies to the wallet sending, and to the buyer on buys. While any stage with a cooldown is running, each wallet needs a one-time activation: a small account (about 0.0017 SOL rent) that records its last transfer. Hookzpad adds it in the same transaction as your first trade, and you can close it for a refund once the cooldown stages are over.

Anti-bundlebuys per block, 1–255

The most buys into brand-new wallets (ones holding none of the token before the buy) in the same block. It stops one actor sniping the launch with many fresh wallets at once. Small buys don’t count, so dust can’t use up the quota: in a Hookzpad pool launch only buys of 0.05 SOL or more count; in Meteora mode, buys of 1.77M tokens or more. When a block’s quota is full, the trade panel waits for the next block and tries again.

Free tradingno limits

All four limits off. A typical last stage, but optional: the last stage can keep limits forever in a Hookzpad pool launch.

Stages

  • Up to 5 stages. Stage 1 starts at launch and each one runs for the time you set (minutes, hours or days).
  • The last stage has no end: it lasts forever in a Hookzpad pool launch, or until graduation in Meteora mode.
  • The switch happens on the network clock. Nobody triggers it and nobody can delay it; the hook simply applies the next stage’s rules from that moment.
  • A later stage can be stricter than an earlier one. The whole schedule is public from launch, so buyers can see the strictest point ahead.

Presets

The launch form has three ready-made schedules. Picking one fills in the stages; you can still change every name, duration and rule before you launch.

Launch modes

Both modes start every token on a bonding curve with all 1,000,000,000 tokens. They differ in where it goes next.

Pick a Hookzpad pool if the rules should outlive the curve. Pick Meteora mode if you want the token to trade freely on Meteora (and apps built on it, like Jupiter) once it graduates.

Worked examples

Max wallet 2%

Supply is 1,000,000,000, so 2% is 20,000,000 tokens. A wallet holding 19,000,000 can buy 1,000,000 more; a buy of 1,500,000 fails. It can still sell any amount.

Max transaction 0.5% with a 60-second cooldown

Each transfer moves at most 5,000,000 tokens. After a buy at 12:00:00, the same wallet’s next buy, sell or send works from 12:01:00. To exit 15,000,000 tokens it sells three times, a minute apart.

Anti-bundle 1

In any one block, only one buy of 0.05 SOL or more can land in a wallet holding none of the token. If a sniper sends 20 fresh-wallet buys at launch, at most one per block goes through. Buys into wallets that already hold the token aren’t limited.

A full schedule: Strict → Free

Launch at 14:00. Until 15:00 (Strict) a wallet holds at most 0.5% and waits 2 minutes between transfers. Until 21:00 (Tight) limits ease to 1% and 1 minute. Until 21:00 the next day (Loose) only a 3% max wallet applies. After that, trading is free for good.

Market cap in USD

Market caps are worked out in SOL from the curve, then converted with a live SOL price (shown as ≈ $). If the price can’t be loaded, the last known price is used and marked with *, or the USD value is hidden.

Outside apps during a cooldown

During a stage with a cooldown, a wallet must be activated before it can buy. Outside apps, like Jupiter or a wallet’s swap screen, don’t add the activation, so their buys can fail unless the wallet is already activated. Trade on Hookzpad to avoid this: it activates your wallet in the same transaction. Outside a cooldown stage, activation isn’t needed.

Before you launch or trade, read the risks. Ready? Launch a token.
